First Aid & Accredited Training FAQs

1. Can I bring my child?

Yes! I offer selected Little Lives First Aid courses specifically designed for parents, grandparents, carers and educators who need to bring their children along.

 

These sessions are held on selected weekday mornings. To see upcoming Little Lives First Aid courses, please check the booking calendar for available weekday morning sessions, or visit our Facebook Events page to see upcoming Little Lives events.

 

Please note that children cannot attend standard accredited first aid courses unless the course has been specifically advertised as child-friendly.

2. What face-to-face accredited courses do you offer?

 

I offer a range of nationally recognised face-to-face training delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909).

Current courses include:

  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

  • CHCPRT025 Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk

Public courses are held regularly across South East Queensland, and private workplace training is available for businesses, early childhood services, schools, Family Day Care schemes and community organisations.

3. Do you offer online courses?

Yes! I offer both nationally recognised online courses and non-accredited professional development through The Educators Well.

 

Our accredited online courses combine self-paced online learning with any required practical assessment, while our non-accredited courses focus on educator wellbeing, leadership, professional growth and practical strategies you can implement immediately.

4. Who issues my First Aid certificate?

Certificates are issued by Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909) upon successful completion of all assessment requirements.

5. How long does my certificate last?

 

Most first aid certificates are valid for three years, while CPR should be updated every 12 months, as recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council and many workplaces.

Always check your employer or regulatory requirements.

6. Do I need to complete online learning before attending?

Most nationally recognised courses include online learning that must be completed before your face-to-face practical session.

The course information will clearly explain what is required after you book.
